Student Career Development Association

SCDA Overview

       Student Career Development Association (SCDA) was founded in 2003. It aims to help students discover their career interests and achieve their career goals under the mission of "Know yourself, Explore your career, Provide better service, Grow together". In 2016, SCDA organized over 160 activities. More than 12,000 students participated.

Activities

1. Career Guidance Month

      In the Career Guidance Month of 2016, 8 lectures and 8 salons were organized. 880 participated were involved totally.

2. Peer Counsellor

      SCDA organized 48 student counsellors to give career development lectures in class. In 2016, they have served 939 students.

4. LET’S Program

      LET’S Program, which full name is Life Experience, Tailor-made Sharing. Every student is able to use one hour to talk with a mentor face to face about their confuses and problems in career development. Currently, SCDA has 24 mentors, and has provided 127 individual counsellings.

5. Coach Program

      Career Coach Program was established in 2006. More than 10 sessions have been held. This program invites experienced professionals from all walks of life to be volunteer career coaches of students of Tsinghua University. They can provide guidance for students on planning and career development.
