Environmental Concerns in Investment Treaties and Arbitration

Tsinghua International Arbitration and Dispute Settlement (IADS) Program will organize a free lecture on International Arbitration at Tsinghua Law School on March 5th, 2019. It will open to all.

Prof. Herve Ascensio

Professor at the Sorbonne Law School, University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Director of the Department of Master Degrees in International, European, and Comparative Law - Sorbonne Law School; Director of the Master 2 Degree in Global Business Law and Governance.

  Other Activities: Legal Expertise and Consultancy: Counsel of the French Government in cases before the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights; expertise for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union (EEAS); expertise before investment arbitral tribunals. Member of the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration within the OSCE (alternate arbitrator).
